Michael Watts is an oil and gas professional with over 10 years of industry experience spanning drilling operations, MWD services, quality control, and production optimization. After leaving college to serve in the U.S. Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment from 2009 to 2014, he transitioned into the energy sector, working as an MWD specialist with Directional Driller experience from 2014 through 2021. During this time, he supported operations across the Rocky Mountain and Appalachia regions.
From 2021 to 2023, Michael moved into remote MWD operationsand Quality Control, overseeing multiple rigs simultaneously and ensuring dataintegrity and performance standards across diverse assets. In 2024, he expanded into production optimization and O&G consulting services, working with operators to improve efficiency, reliability, and long-term asset performance. His background combines field-proven operational knowledge, technical expertise,and disciplined leadership to deliver practical, data-driven solutions for oil and gas production challenges.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys getting into the great outdoors to hunt, fish, and golf.
